  1. Making Polymer Clay Jewellery

Currently in the lockdown we have more creative time. Okay I know I should do more housework but life is too short, hey?

I love making polymer clay veneers as you can acheive such different loots with them Veneers can be textured and a blank canvas for mixed media finishes. I occasionally make polymer clay canes but I dont have a knack for them.

On the left you can see some of the recent veneers I have made with stencils and texture plates. The veneers were painted with both Deco Art interference and Plaid colour changing acrylics

Making Polymer Clay Jewellery-BedeckedBeadsI decided to combine some of the veneers to create a small range of vibrant jewellery, piecing them together like a patchwork. Once I had cured the pieces I coated them in resin to protect the surface.

So here we have some lovely vibrant jewellery including a brooch, necklace and a pair of earrings.
